Kaye and Geoff's Recipes - Biscuits


Ginger oat biscuits

100 gms rolled oats			50 gms butter
3 tablespoons golden syrup		50 gms Demerara sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Put the butter, sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan and melt gently together. In a bowl mix the oats and ginger. Pour the melted mixture onto the dry ingredients and mix well.

Spoon the batter into a base-lined and greased 18 cm. square shallow tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C. for 20-25 minutes. Leave to cool and slice.
